Lubna Adel is a full-time English assistant lecturer of English at The British University in Egypt. She also teaches English and Translation at School of Continuing Education (SCE), an affiliate of The American University in Cairo (AUC).
She graduated from Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain-Shams University in 2003, English Department. She is now a PhD candidate at Helwan University. She completed a Professional Diploma in Simultaneous Interpreting from the AUC, April 2014, excellence with honours. She obtained her master’s degree in linguistics (Feminist Stylistics) with excellence in April 2013 at Faculty of Arts, Helwan University.
She has worked at reputable universities: Université Française d'Egypte (UFE), and Misr International University (MIU). She is a certified online teacher from Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) where she has created an online business English course for MBA students. She has taught various English courses: general and business English, business correspondence and business plan, academic writing, soft and interview skills, and CV writing. Upon graduation and up till now, she has been working as a freelance translator for many publishing houses and translation agencies.
