Zoltán Schepp dr. is associate professor since 2005 and vice dean for research and innovation at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pécs since 2011.
Zoltán Schepp earned a degree in Economics and a specialist German Translator qualification at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the Janus Pannonius University, Pécs, in 1991. He defended his PhD thesis at the same faculty in 2004 and became the title dr. habil in 2011. His fields of interest are the Theory of Flexible Exchange Rates, International Finance and higher education policy. He lectures in these fields in the Faculty's Bachelor and Master programs and on the Hungarian and English language Ph.D program. Before becoming vice dean he was the Director of the MSc programs of the Faculty between 2007 and 2011, and has for a decade led the cooperation between the Faculty and the University of Hagen (Germany). He is now the leader of two research group on the faculty: one is dealing with micro-based economic issues in the SROP-4.2.2.C-11/1/KONV-2012-0005, “Well-being in the Information Society” project, and the other is the University Pécs research group of the Rastanews FP7 project. He is married and father of two children.
