Radosław Wójtowicz

Radosław Wójtowicz is a PhD student at the Institute of Linguistics, Department of Modern Languages, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland). During the academic year 2013/2104 he is an exchange PhD student at the University of Helsinki, Finland. He is pursuing his doctoral degree in Finnish linguistics.

Radosław Wójtowicz received his MA degree in the Finnish language in 2011. His main research interests revolve around two general topics: the Finnish language and endangered languages. In terms of the latter one, Radosław is particularly interested in the role of schools in raising awarenes of language endangerment among the general public.

Radosław Wójtowicz has been involved in a couple of projects concerned with endangered languages: Innovative Networking in Infrastructure for Endangered Languages and The Linguistic Heritage of the Republic of Poland. During his short academic career, he has participated in several international conferences in linguistics. Radosław Wójtowicz was also a co-organiser of the summer school on Technological Approaches to the Documentation of Lesser-Used Languages held in September 2013 in Gniezno, Poland.
