David L. Bush, MBA, MA is a full-time Doctor of Business Administration student at the University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio, Texas. He completed a distinguished military career with 22 years of faithful, dedicated, and honorable service to our Nation. Recipient of the Department of Defense Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious service during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His actions contributed immensely to success of building a free and democratic nation for the citizens of Iraq. Awarded the Combat Medical Badge with Star (2nd Award) for proven healthcare administration experience. David is an analytical and focused Management Professional with documented National & International successes, during military and public service to include peacetime and wartime operations. He is certified as a Registered Medical Assistant by The American Medical Technologist Association. A Healthcare Administrator and Military Veteran, he accelerated to positions of greater responsibility and leadership, resulting in increased mission accomplishment and organizational readiness. Prior to embarking on his Doctoral journey, David was an Adjunct Medical Professor for the National American University, Austin Texas, Site Coordinator/ Academic Advisor, Wayland Baptist University, San Antonio, Texas, and Medical Program Chair/Adjunct Professor, Hallmark University (aka Hallmark College), San Antonio, Texas. These universities were regionally accredited, with multi-campus institutions of higher learning offering associate, bachelors, and master’s degree programs in technical and professional fields. These universities also offered traditional degree programs, online college degrees, and hybrid formats. David has experienced firsthand the dynamics of transitioning military personnel, as an Army Career and Alumni Program Counselor (ACAP) at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He conducted individual counseling sessions and seminars for military personnel transitioning and separating from active duty service, as well as, other job assistance activities such as resume writing, critiques, and mock interviews. Possess extensive knowledge in Healthcare Administration, Higher Learning Instruction, Medical Technology and Procedure, and Student Development.
