Silvia Nastasiu is currently lecturer at USMF “Nicolae Testemițeanu”, of Republic of Moldova.
Silvia graduated from States University of Republic of Moldova, Faculty of Letters in 1988, specializing in Romanian Language and Literature.
Since 2000, Silvia, specialized in romanian medical terminology during her activity at USMF “Nicolae Testemițeanu”.
In 2004-2005, Silvia participated at project financed through Phare by European Union’s named “Training and Educating in Palliative Care”. Here she gained commutative competence for palliative care subject.
Nastasiu Silvia has completed the AJA Registrars Internal Auditor Course
in 2009 and is certified for Quality Management System against the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
In 2014, Silvia participated at European Project “Take Care”: A Healthcare Language Guide for Migrants in collaboration with EuroEd foundation and UMF “Grigore T.Popa” Iași, Romania.
She is co-author of „Limba Română. Limbaj Medical” and “Comunicare în Sănătate Publică”.
Her area of expertise and research is medical terminology, methods of teaching medical terminology and interpersonal communication abilities patient – doctor.
