Immacolata Ercolino is now a PhD student at the Camerino University Italy in Science teaching Life Science.The aim of her project is to create a platform in order to help teachers and learners to become more confident in teaching Science with CLIL methodology, in fact her research project focuses on CLIL in Science teaching so she is very interested to meet other international teachers’ community to share ideas and projects. She has been teacher for more than 22 years at a Science High School in Naples and is particularly interested in education and hands on activities in Science.She has been a SISS supervisor for many years at University of Salerno and Suor Orsola Benincasa University in Naples and now is a Tutor Coordinator of TFA as Science teachers’ trainer at the University of Naples “Federico II”. She has expertise in hands on activities, Laboratory teaching in Science in more than 30 PON Projects, courses funded by the European Community to teachers from the primary school to the high school.She has experience also in ICT. As teacher trainer she worked as teacher collaborator in the INVALSI school’s evaluation teams, and worked as teachers’ trainer and author of teaching materials for MIUR (Italy).She worked as Scientific reviewer of teaching and / or learning materials for MIUR. She has experienced abroad in Europe, where she has been formed (EMBL and EMBO courses), but also in Japan where she participated for three years with some students to a science school contest in Shizuoka (Japan).
