Juan Antonio Macías García is a Ph.D. student from the University of Málaga, currently working on his thesis in the field of the didactics of Mathematics.
He graduated in Mathematics from the University of Málaga in 2014. The following year he completed the Master’s degree in Mathematics and the Master’s degree in Teaching Secondary Education, both from the University of Málaga.
As of now, he is currently enrolled in the Master’s degree in Policies and Experiences in Educational Innovation in parallel with the research on his thesis.
Juan Antonio’s field of research is quite varied. His main line of research is the phenomenology behind the notion of finite limit of a function at a point, subject about which he is developing his doctoral thesis. He is also researching about other topics such as didactical analysis of textbooks or research about the Flipped Classroom method.
