The Future of Education

The course "Design of architecture, interior and exterior» is intended to provide knowledge and skills about the nature of the design of architecture as entity of whole building solutions, design solutions for an interior and exterior. Special attention is paid to the protection of the design of architecture as intellectual property divided to: possibilities for a protection as copyright and as an industrial property: invention, utility model, industrial design; their main characteristics, criteria for identifying intellectual property and the economic benefits of such protection in the real property business. Special place in the business area of ​​the property is given to the design of architecture, interior and exterior in the company's visual culture and business identity. The focus of the student’s individual work is on the research in the field of intellectual property through analyzing the special information sources based on the specific methodology.

Practical work in this course is matched to a particular real object:

• analyzing the real contract in copyright filed in the design of architecture, interior and exterior;
   
• research of protected design  decisions as patented inventions or utility models;
   
• research of registered industrial designs in real design cases;
   
• studies for license agreements in the design of architecture, interior and exterior.

The students should present their well based points of view to the following questions:

• How to carry out research into the protected design decisions in architecture, interior and exterior;
   
• The effects of protection for solutions in the design of architecture, interior and exterior;
   
• To select the counterparty in exchange license in the design of architecture, interior and exterior;
   
• The economic aspects of the use of protected business solutions in the design of architecture, interior and exterior

• Measures against infringement of intellectual property rights in the design of architecture, interior and exterior.

The presentation of each real case is been done as a mode of discussion at the academic auditorium.
