Leveling Project for Incoming IFFAR Students

Abstract
This paper reports on the difficulties of students from elementary school who enter the technical courses of the Farroupilha Federal Institute (IFFAR) - Uruguaiana Advanced Campus. At each beginning of the academic semester, teachers perceive learning difficulties, usually in basic mathematics. This makes the technical learning process, offered on campus, compromised. In this way, the Federal Institute Farroupilha, as an Institution that works with teaching, research and extension, one of the alternatives to leave these students in the same level is to promote projects and to make them participate. Thus, the general objective of this research is to demonstrate the importance of actions to recover students' basic learning through teaching projects and also to report the actions promoted in this project as well as the results achieved. This project was carried out in two courses of IFFAR - Uruguaiana and reached about 30 students with difficulties. First, it was identified the difficulties, soon after the planning of the actions and as a result achieved was the recovery of these students, leaving them at the same level of others.
