The Future of Education

Professor Quinteros, a Biology graduate from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, participated in research and conservation projects related to Guatemalan biodiversity for sustainability and grant support for protected areas in Central America. She graduated with a Bilingual Primary Education degree. She has combined her professional experience with teaching. In 2010, she begins her university teaching career at UVG in the Department of Biology teaching courses in Biology, Environmenta Management, Sustainability and Education. She holds a Master's degree in Higher Education and Innovation (2021). She also has a certification in Educational Coaching from UVG, which enables her to support first-year students in adapting to university life. A year ago, she joined the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching and works as an Academic Assistant in Educational Technology. In this role, she she aids educators in enhancing teaching practices through educational technology, promoting platforms, ICT, and Generative AI.
