Sachin Sharma is a multi-faceted educator, technologist, and social reformer, dedicated to transforming lives through equitable and accessible education. He holds a Master’s in Mathematics (M.Sc.), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM – HRM), and is also a proficient Web Developer, R Programmer, and seasoned Mathematics Teacher.
Before establishing his NGO, he served as an Assistant Manager – Administration, but in 2012, he left his job to pursue a mission far greater—uplifting the poorest of the poor through education. This commitment led him to found the Udgam Welfare Foundation, a New Delhi-based non-profit dedicated to providing free, high-quality education, emotional guidance, mentorship, food, and shelter to underprivileged students.
Since 2012, Mr. Sharma has personally guided over 1,000 students, many from families with incomes below ₹15,000/month. He designed and implemented a free two-year JEE coaching program where students were provided with free Mathematics coaching, stationery, meals, and residential facilities. As a result, more than 25 students between 2012 and 2020—all first-generation learners—secured admissions to prestigious engineering colleges across India and are now employed in respected positions, breaking the generational cycle of poverty.
To further expand his impact, Mr. Sharma launched a global digital e-learning platform at [www.udgamwelfarefoundation.com](https://udgamwelfarefoundation.com), offering free online tests, e-books, notes, and video lectures for learners who cannot afford paid resources. His platform is actively used by other NGOs to reach underserved communities, making it a catalyst for scalable educational equity.
