Dr. Christopher S. Wilson teaches architecture and design history at Ringling College of Art and Design, Sarasota, Florida, USA. Originally from Philadelphia, USA, Dr. Wilson earned a Bachelors in Architecture degree from Temple University (Philadelphia), a Master of Arts degree from The Architectural Association (London) and a PhD from Middle East Technical University (Ankara). His most recent book, "Beyond Anitkabir: The Construction and Maintenance of National Memory" (Ashgate Press, 2013), narrates the story of the five architectural constructions that have housed the dead body of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the first president of Turkey. Dr. Wilson is currently working on the Sarasota chapter for a monograph of the "Sarasota School" architect Victor A. Lundy (1923-).
