Dr. Carlen Lavigne is the author of Cyberpunk Women, Feminism, and Science Fiction (McFarland, 2013), the editor of Remake Television: Reboot, Re-Use, Recycle (Lexington, 2014), and the co-editor of American Remakes of British Television (Lexington, 2011). Her research interests include gender and sexuality in popular culture, particularly television and games. She teaches communications studies at Red Deer College in Alberta, Canada.
