Marina Screpanti is a Primary School teacher from Chieti (Italy) with a specific expertise in
European cooperation and project planning, digital teaching, physical education and CLIL.
Marina graduated in Physical education from the University of Urbino in 1986 and from the
University of Chieti in 2003. Since 1991 she has constantly been working in school, firstly as
PE and English teacher in Primary Schools and then as Primary School teacher (all subjects).
She was a rhythmical gymnastic trainer and judge from 1991 to 2010.
Marina is an expert in the planning and management of European projects especially Comenius
and Erasmusplus and eTwinning. She is an eTwinning Ambassador and she won many prizes in
eTwinning: two European Prizes and four National ones.
Since 2007 she has been working as coordinator in many projects. She has important roles in
her school as well. She is in charge for coordinating all the planning of her Institute (PTOF).
She also coordinates the sport associations that are in contact with her school all the European
projects of her Institute.
Currently she has been working as a teacher trainer in many courses: Flipped classroom, CLIL,
digital teaching, Coding, class 3.0.
She is one of the author of the scientific teaching magazine NGN Gulliver News.
She also worked in the PE University in Chieti as tutor in the Academic year 2015/2016.
She wrote different articles for scientific e magazines (“ICT in practice” 2012 and “Focus: disseminare
e condividere” 2015) and for eTwinning books (“Diario, quaderno e…eTwinning”
2012 e “Citizenship: a new ethic for the 21st century” 2016)
Marina was a presenter in the National eTwinning Conference in Rome in 2012, in the European eTwinning Conference in Berlin in 2012, in Rome in 2014, in Bruxelles in 2015 and in the PDW in Stockholm in 2013. She presented her work together with two members of the European Commission in the European Conference “Citizenship: concept and practical approaches” which took place in Florence in 2016.
Marina organized two European Learning Event on the eTwinning platform: “How partnership and ICT innovate Primary School teaching and learning” May 30th-June 10th 2016 and “Teaching English differently” March 17th-27th 2017, training hundreds of European teachers.
