In terms of my educational background, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, and then I gained a full scholarship for a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Conservatory of Music of Rangsit University. Afterwards, I finished a piano program from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the University of Sydney. Nowadays, I am doing a research for Doctor of Philosophy Program in Music at College of Music, Mahidol University.
I have played the piano for more than 20 years, and then participated in the masterclasses with famous pianists of the international reputation, namely James Miltenberger, Staffan Sandstrom, Jun Komatsu, Lei Weng, Ching Wen Hsiao, Maria Jee and so on. Furthermore, I have performed several piano concerts in Thailand as well as foreign country, such as piano recital at Conservatory of Music of Rangsit University, piano recital at Bangkok Art & Culture Centre, piano concert at Faculty of Music of Silpakorn University, piano concert at Faculty of Music and Performing Arts of Burapha University, piano concert at Goethe-Institut of Thailand, piano concert at Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the University of Sydney and so forth. Fortunately, I used to study with a considerable number of piano teachers who are professional and eminent, such as Dr. Tretip Kamolsiri, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pawalai Tachanpong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tongsuang Israngkun na Ayudhaya, Aree Kunapongkul, Dr. Tanarach Anukul, Visudhisom Roongin, Jihyeon Lim, and even Dr. Onpavee Nitisingkarin. So far, I have been not only a piano accompanist but also a collaborative pianist since I was at the university; additionally, I performed the SBS Annual Musical, and I was successfully completed the necessary examination awarded the advanced certificate in Yamaha piano grade 5; what’s more, I received a scholarship of competition from Yamaha Music School while being a university student.
Regarding my work experience of music, I have become both a piano teacher and a piano tutor since 2009; for instance, I was a piano teacher at Yamaha Music Foundation for 5 years and taught in Junior Music Course (JMC), Adult Piano Course, Pianoforte, Yamaha Popular Piano as well as a piano teacher at RSU Music Academy, MCGP Mahidol, Peterson Piano Gallery (Music Academy), particularly when I spent time studying in Sydney, I had a marvelous opportunity to work as piano tutor in order to prepare for the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB), and then I had a great chance to enlighten concerning a body of musical knowledge, especially classical music with a group of overseas students and missionaries at church in Sydney. I have also been teaching piano lessons as well as piano exams for more than 7 years. Ultimately, pertaining to my research publication which is “Bartók’s Two Romanian Dances, Op. 8a: Performance Practice and Interpretation” Rangsit Music Journal 11, 1 (January-December 2016): 46-62.
