Vicky Maratou, graduated from the Physics Department of University of Patras. She holds a Master Degree in Medical Physics from University of Patras and a Master Degree in Information Systems from Hellenic Open University.
She has worked as adjunct lecturer in Programming Languages and Embedded Systems Design in the Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece. Currently she is working as researcher in the Dynamic Ambient Intelligent Sociotechnical Systems (DAISSy) Research Group of Hellenic Open University. Through her collaboration with the DAISSy Group she has been involved in many research EU projects of Hellenic Open University. In the context of research projects, she has been involved in the design and development of two MOOCs, and has developed educational online games for Project Management, Information Security and natural hazards in 3D virtual environments.
