Paolo Notarantonio is a teacher in the HLW Rankweil (Vorarlberg - Austria). A technical commercial school. He teaches Italian.
Paolo Notarantonio graduated in Italian Literature from the University of Roma “La Sapienza” in 1988. Since then he teaches Italian in Polytechnic High School, Lyceum and High Schools.
After the graduate he taught in Rom in High School “Italian”, “History” and “Philosophy”.
Meanwhile he worked for “Tiburno”, a newspaper of Tivoli (by Rom) as economics editor and he soon became chef editor of the newspaper till 1996. Since 1992 he has ben registered in Italian Order of Journalists.
In 1997 came he to Austria in Vorarlberg, where at the beginning teaches Italian at Berlitz School and at the Fachhochschule Vorarlberg in Dornbirn, a Polytechnic High School. In these year he managed, for the FH Student, the CILS Language certificate in collaboration with University of Siena. For some years he taught also for the bilingual children of the public schools.
Since 2001 he teaches in different High Schools in Vorarlberg Italian as foreign language.
In 2003 grounded he with his wife Silke a Translation Bureau, iDee Kommunikation (italienisch-Deutsch etc. etc.). He makes translations, simultaneous interpreter sessions, recordings for museums and audio CDs and DVDs.
He was is also business consultant for different company of Vorarlberg.
In the HLW Rankweil, the school where he recently teaches, he increased the foreign activities with learning journey in Italy, school exchange ecc. He is also referent for the professional stages of the scholars in Italy in different hotels (Tuscany, Veneto, Sardinia, Emilia Romagna and Puglia). To develop the contacts and exchanges between Italy and Italy he worked also with Alpe Adria in order to build contacts with schools of Trent. He organizes also the Language Certificate and the Language Contest for Vorarlberg. From 2006 till 2017 was he coordinator of the teacher of Italian for Vorarlberg.
Since June 2018 he is also president of the Society Dante Alighieri for Vorarlberg.
