The Future of Education

Dr. Charles A Smith is a Chemistry Professor at Our Lady of the Lake University. His interests include science education research in the classroom, laboratory, and online. Dr. Smith instructs his face to face undergraduate chemistry courses in the flipped format of instruction. In the General Chemistry laboratory he has developed a series of laboratory activities that have a competitive game-type atmosphere. Regarding online education he has developed a highly popular online science course that revolves around the "do at home" science related activities performed and explained on his YouTube Channel "Science with Bobert."
