Luciana Joana is an elementary teacher since 2009 and, she got involved and coordinate different European projects. She Graduated as a teacher at Education School of Coimbra in 2009.
She obtained a Master of Educational Administration at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro in 2013 and currently is a Ph.D. student at the same University in the field of Science of Education. She also studies Anthroposophy and Waldorf Education since 2018 at PerCurso Waldorf, Lisbon.
Since 2017 she has been an integrated member of a research group named KIDE (Knowledge, Innovation and Diversities in Education) at Centre for Research and Intervention in Education, Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, University of Porto.
Also since 2017, Luciana has been a member of the team that audits the Internal Quality Assurance Systems that assessment and accredit Higher Education institutions and their study programs, ensuring the integration of Portugal in the European quality assurance system.
