Deniz Uzun is a student from Istanbul, Turkey who is interested in robotics.
Deniz Uzun is currently a student in Hisar School, going into her junior year. Hisar School offers many opportunities for students to take advantage of in different areas of interests. Deniz got a chance to participate in many activities offered by Hisar, including many lectures on technology and courses on mechatronics. She has been a part of the robotics team in her school for two years.
Deniz has participated in and hosted many events alongside her team which competes in the VEX Robotics Competition. She has experience in mechanics and PR and is now the captain of her team. Although her team was founded quite recently, they got the title of ‘Turkey Champions’ and therefore received a chance to take place in the world championships. In just two years of activity, the team has managed to achieve many steps to their ultimate goal of involving more Turkish students in the technology area.
Moreover, she completed an elective course on mechatronics, offered by her school in order to further develop her skills and knowledge.
