Simona Scanni

Simona Scanni is a PhD student and secondary school teacher with a specific expertise in online learning and emergency remote learning during the pandemic.

Simona graduated in Modern Languages for international cooperation in 2012 and subsequently pursued her career in the field of foreign language teaching, obtaining several qualifications such as Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to teach in England and Italy.

Simona started her PhD at the University of Birmingham in 2018 in Italian Studies. Her research focuses on the effectiveness of online language learning, particularly of Italian as a foreign language.
