The Future of Education

Michele is the Program Director for Education in the Education and Language Acquisition Department at LaGuardia Community College. Over the last six years, Michele has worked collaboratively with faculty in the program to develop and implement assignments that help pre-service teachers make connections between curricular and co-curricular learning experiences, deepen reflective practices, and develop digital communication skills, while building their teacher identity. She has also co-lead seminars with faculty from other disciplines and staff from the Center for Teaching and Learning that focus on ePortfolio pedagogy. Michele has a B.A. in Linguistics and Speech Pathology, with a minor in Sociology, and an M.A. in Linguistics.
