Dr. Lisa Gjedde is an Associate Professor at Aalborg University's Department for Culture and Learning. Her research focuses on narrative frameworks for change, empowerment, and inclusion in both formal and informal learning environments. Lisa collaborates with stakeholders at institutional, national, and international levels to explore interactive learning environments, both physical and virtual. Her work includes developing and implementing narrative, creative, problem-based, and imaginative learning tools, as well as processual methods for evaluating interaction and meaning-making in these environments.
With extensive experience in academic leadership, Lisa has directed research in numerous funded R&D projects with national as well as Nordic and European partners. She led the reCreate Research Centre for Creative and Immersive Learning Environments at Aalborg University. Her career includes roles at the University of Aarhus and the Danish School of Education, where she has contributed to research on creative and inclusive learning environments and educational IT. Her academic journey began with a Ph.D. from Roskilde University, focusing on narrative dimensions in cognition.
