Sara Ferretti (Fabriano, 16 January 1980) graduated in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Perugia on 30 June 2004, with full marks and honours (110/110 cum laude). On 3 February 2011, she obtained national certification to practise as a tourist guide in both French and English. On 28 April 2015, she earned a second degree in Primary Education Sciences with a score of 106/110.
On 1 September 2018, she became a tenured primary school teacher, following success in a public competitive examination.
On 30 March 2023, she completed a Specialisation in Historical-Artistic Heritage at the University of Perugia, graduating with full marks and honours (50/50 cum laude).
Since 1 November 2023, she has been a PhD candidate in History, Arts and Languages in Ancient and Modern Europe at the University of Perugia. Her doctoral research focuses on the project Art, Culture, and Tradition: A Pathway for the Sustainable Valorisation of Villages in the Umbrian Apennine Ridge (Academic Discipline: L-ART/04).
On 3 June 2024, she obtained her teaching qualification in Literary Subjects for upper secondary education.
He is currently a tenured teacher at the upper secondary school Istituto A. Volta in Perugia, where he teaches Italian and History (teaching class A/12).
Areas of expertise: Iconography of saints, art history education, the pedagogy of tangible and intangible heritage, the digitalisation of cultural heritage, Artificial Intelligence.
