John Buchanan

Dr John Buchanan is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at the University of Technology Sydney, where he coordinates international and engagement programs. He has taught and conducted research for several years in the fields of intercultural education, history and geography, and languages education. He has published extensively in these areas. He is a past president of the NSW Institute for Educational Research.

Current research projects: NSW Department of Education. Evaluation of the K-2 Literacy and Numeracy Action Plan;
Australian Technology Network. A case study tor teacher graduate preparedness: Developing a national capstone assessment and evaluative framework.
