Charlotte Sennersten
Institution: Department of Computer Science, Kristianstad University
Country: Sweden
I am a Computer Scientist with AI focus by background and have worked at HKR since November 2021. I have previously worked at KTH in Stockholm, Uppsala University Campus Gotland, Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) and Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), a governmental authority in Australia, at the Data 61 and Mineral Resources Business Units for ten years before coming back to Sweden-Kristianstad.
At the HKR Computer Science Department I am teaching courses at the Bachelor Program in Software Development mainly and these courses are Frontend Development, Business Intelligence, Data Mining, Research Methodology for Computer Science, also AI courses in progress and development, …
The ten years in Australia I was employed as a CSIRO Senior Research Scientist in various roles and with an own team -the 4D Internet Team. The main work and research were in volumetric data management connecting various sensor data to a newly developed data management platform replicating a Digital Twin Industry 4.0 approach with interoperability as a main focus. The purpose was to shape a transperancy between frontend and backed to build away the so called ‘Black Box’ approach so engineers and operative staff could benefit in understanding AI and ML and its affects more clearly.
Here at HKR I foremost like to advance the AI and ML approach with adding an innovation layer twist to what we already know. Would be good if we worked more over the subject and faculty silos in general -this would enrich our different approaches and we would build a joint purpose internally and form a future vision.
I have published articles, book chapter(s), book(s) from 3D Game Technologies with focus on 3D Game Engines connected with eyetrackers and via gaze ray casting being able to read 3D mimicked environments and what people and robots look at while operating in these, to physiological sensors and optical sensor readings and analytics, volumetric questions both in data analytics and computation, volumetric data business models, AI and Intelligent Agents, …
A US filed patent owned by CSIRO, based on my work called VoxelNET still being progressed by my previous team.
