Feliciana Rajevska, Dr.pol.sc. is the associate professor of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences and researcher of Social Economic and Human Research Institute. Her area of interest is social policy, social investment, social inclusion, pension policy.
She delivers courses: Social Policy, Policy Analysis, Policy Process in Latvia for bachelor and master students in political science, in 1999-2005 she was director of master study programm in the University of Latvia, in 2006-2013 was director of master study programm Governance and Communication in ViA, is adviser for bachelor and master papers, doctoral thesis.
Rajevska has participated as researcher in national, bilateral and international projects, funded by the Research Council of Norway, Council of Europe (1996-1997, Human Dignity and Social Exclusion), European Commission (1998-1999, Monitoring the Development of Social Protection Reform in the CEECs). She was the local consultant of World Bank in 2000 and 2001 being the editor for Social Report of the Ministry of Welfare and in 1996 preparing White Paper for Social Assistance Reform in Latvia. In 2010-2014 she was the head of project Social Human Security in Research Program National Identity. Since 2014 she is head of project Social and Political Transformation in Latvia in the Post-crisis Period and national independent expert of European Social Policy Network.
Rajevska has publications about social policy-making, social inclusion, pension policy in Latvian and English. The latest of them are 2015- Ch. Economic and Social Right in How Democratic is Latvia?
