She is graduated in Letters Portuguese English, MA in Applied Linguistics and PhD in Education. Abreu holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). Accredited by the Post-Graduate Program in Linguistics and Professional Post-Graduate Program in Education, both from UFSCar, and is collaborating researcher at the Laboratory of Urban Studies (Labeurb / Nudecri / Unicamp). Topics of interest: authorship; discourse analysis; public policy; teacher training; open educational resources. She coordinates the Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Studies in Authorship at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). In 2013, she published the book Policies of Authorship (EdUFSCar/FAPESP).
