To obtain this degree, Sandra has developed a qualitative research that resulted in a final report entitled “A Perfect Learning Day: Perceptions of Secondary School Students about the Ideal School”.
This master came up after 12 years of teaching, when she began feeling an increased difficulty in motivating students to learn. For this reason, she has decided to participate in a two-day Workshop and Seminar about “Education in the Digital Age”, at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, experience that has aroused her interest in Future Classrooms and ICT in Education, motivating her to a full new area of interest in the field of Education, in which started investigating.
This new scope of interest, particularly the interest in the development and use of these new classrooms, generated the possibility of participating in a research project under development at Universidade Lusófona’s Design Research Center of Lisbon – the DELLI Research Haus investigation project.
During her career at ETEO, Sandra has also participated in some Erasmus+ Mobility Projects as organizer and facilitator, having accompanied students in several mobility actions within Europe.
Areas of expertise: Portuguese and English teaching (vocational/secondary level); Technical English and Communication Techniques (adults teaching); ICT in specific teaching contexts
