Mohamed is a Ph.D. student at the University of Leeds from the school of education. Currently, he is research on curriculum reform and implementation focusing of secondary science teachers’ response to a competency-based curriculum in the Tanzania context. Before joining the Ph.D. studies at the University of Leeds in October 2015, Mohamed was working as a college tutor, teaching physics both academic and pedagogy to the teacher trainee since 2009. Mohamed also worked as a teachers’ professional development trainer for the primary science and mathematics teachers at the regional level in Tanzania.
