Rasa Didžiulienė

Rasa Didžiulienė is PhD student of Educational Science at the Education Academy of Vytautas Magnus University.

Rasa graduated in Master of Social Sciences (Sociology) in faculty of Social sciences at Kaunas University of Technology in 1997.
Since then, for the last 22 years, she has constantly been working in the field of education. From 1997 to 2001 Rasa worked as lecturer in Faculty of Social Sciences of Kaunas University of Technology. From 2001 to 2003 she worked as specialist in a KAVA Department of Social Affairs, Education and Culture. From 2003 to 2008 she worked as head of Science department and lecturer, from 2008 to 2015 she worked as head of Students’ service centre and lecturer, from 2015 to 2016 she worked as deputy director of Development and communication and lecturer in Kolping university of applied sciences. From 2018 she is PhD student and lecturer of Educational Science in Vytautas Magnus University.

Rasa is involved as a researcher or a coordinator in several European projects: Continue (No. 09.2.1-ESFA-V-727-01-001, 2018-2022); Platform for self- assessment and development of teaching competence of VET teachers a trainers (No. 2018-1-LT01-KA202-047053, 2018-2020); Quality of youth career guidance and nowadays media literacy (No. 2014-1-DE02-KA204-001579, 2014 - 2016); Development and implementation of models for career education and career monitoring of higher education students, improvement of qualification of vocational guidance specialists working with students, development of tools for them (SFMIS No. VP1-2.3.-ŠMM-01-V-01-001, 2010-2013); Improving teachers' general and specific competencies to promote the use of innovative learning methods in the learning process (2010-2012).

Rasa Didžiulienė was the coordinator and vice chairman of the organizational and scientific committees of eighteen international conferences: Small and medium business development prospects of integration into the European Union (2003-2010); Christian values in post-modern society (2008); Challenges and social responsibility in business (2011-2014); Challenges of Sustainable Development (2015); Sustainable Development Challenges For Education (2015) and International Student Conference Theory and Practice: Student Insights (2012-2014). She is also the coordinating editor of the journal Holistic Learning (2019, doi.org/10.7220/2351-7409.4).

Rasa is a lecturer, at higher education level, in the field of teachers' career, self-assessment, professional satisfaction and general competences. She was also the coordinator and a lector in the seminars and youth Summer Academy programs from 2007. Rasa is also a member of Business Management (2007-2013), Social Work study (2012-2015) and Career and Professional Counselling (2019-2020) study programs’ the student final thesis jury (2008-2020) and she was the research supervisor and reviewer of Business Management (2007-2013) and Social Work study (2012-2015) study programs’ final thesis.
