Christine Johnston has an abiding passion for helping people understand themselves as learners and use that understanding to improve their lives and their relationships with others. Christine’s professional life as teacher, school administrator, trainer-consultant, and professor has included serving as a program officer in the State of Illinois Department of Local Government Affairs, Director of the Center for the Advancement of Learning at Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ, and founding member of the Compass Academy Charter School, an LML (P-5) lab school and lighthouse district.
She is the originator of the Let Me Learn Process®, an Advanced Learning System. Her work spans four decades and several continents, including working with K-12 districts and public and private universities across the United States, the United Kingdom, Central Europe, the Mediterranean Rim, and Australia. She has also consulted with corporate leaders, trained individuals returning to the workforce, and counseled learners in all types of educational settings including an EU sponsored Grundtvig Project. She has authored and coauthored numerous books on learning, communication, and the Let Me Learn Process®, as well as written numerous articles and invited chapters. Dr. Johnston earned her BA from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, her MA from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and her Ed.D. from Rutgers University.
