Maria T. Redmon, Senior Instructor of Spanish, MA degree, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. Professor Redmon initiated the Spanish Translation and Interpretation Certificate, Business Spanish. Latin American Studies, and High Impact Practices (HIP) courses, and the Spanish Honors Programs. She has published scholarly articles and given papers in her field on adaptive learning, Implementation of 360ยบ technology to promote intercultural competence and industry-specific language skills, implementing universal design for learning, and promoting language parity, among others, focused on language communication skills in a bilingual environment.
Professor Redmon has also been awarded Fulbright-Hays grants for Short-term projects abroad to Bolivia, Argentina and Mexico and U.S. Department of Education Title VI grant projects for curriculum development. Presently she is a Co-PI on an NSF grant for the Future of Education, among other grant projects.
