She has a master’s degree in Bilingual Education from “Universidad Internacional de La Rioja” (Spain). She obtained a GoTeacher scholarship sponsored by the government of Ecuador to certify herself as a TESL trainer at Kansas State University (United States). Paola is also a CELTA Qualified teacher certified by Cambridge University. She is currently working as a Professor at Yachay Tech University. Her interests are focused on Teaching Students with Special Educational Needs and Addressing Educational Practices on Personal Learning Status.
Josephine S. Javens has worked as a CELTA-certified EFL teacher at Yachay Tech University in Ecuador since 2016. Originally from the United States, she holds a master’s degree in English with a concentration in Literature and Writing and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her research interests include bilingualism and research-based teaching practices.
