Elena Berg is an Associate Professor at the Department of the Russian Language, Foreign Languages and Speech Culture at the Ural State Law University.
She holds a Ph.D. degree in the Russian Language and a Juris Doctor degree.
For 20 years Prof. Berg has been teaching Russian language, Latin language and Roman Law to the university students. She has been delivering lectures and workshops on Legal Terminology and Russian Stylistics to university teachers, public servants, judges and attorneys for 16 years .
Elena Berg serves as a Lead Expert in the Center of Linguistic Expert Examinations at the Ural State Law University since 2002.
Since 2013 Dr. Berg works at USA-based company Language Interface Inc. in the capacity of Senior Editor and linguistic research specialist. She is the lead linguistic consultant in the company's LexSite project aimed at development of advanced online dictionaries.
Ms. Berg is the author of 90 research papers and supplemental study guides. Two new textbooks Russian Speech Culture and Rhetoric for Lawyers and Latin for Students of Law are in print.
