Daniela Cuccurullo is contract Professor of English language and foreign languages and multimedia trainer at the University of Naples and Secondary School teacher.
Daniela graduated in Modern Languages from the Orientale U.I. in 1985. Since then, she has constantly been working in the fields of FLT, ELT and CALT.
Daniela is an expert in the planning and management of Italian and European projects focusing in particular on the areas of education, training, culture and research.
For over twenty years she has been consulting Italian universities and research institutes as a multimedia expert, National ambassador, teacher trainer, e-tutor, forum moderator and author of online courses and digital contents. She uses both traditional face-to-face methods and e-learning paths in blended training.
Engaged in research on teaching English as a second language through multimedia and CALL/MALL/MALU, she is author of essays on didactics and English literature and ELT/FLT, and of reviews and translations.
Daniela is involved as external expert in school quality management and as an assessor of European projects in the field of higher education in the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 and KA1 Programmes.
Daniela is also member of the Executive Committee of TESOL Italy, coordinator of a TESOL Italy local group (Naples) and Editor of the TESOL Italy newsletter.
She has also been member of the scientific committees for National projects on behalf of INDIRE and MIUR and the peer-reviewing of papers submitted for international reviews in the field of higher education.
She has four Masters in Multimedia teaching, e-learning and e-tutoring, with particular reference to multimodality and emerging issues and teaching technologies and new target groups (primary and subject school teachers).
She is now working with CLIL as a new approach to language learning and has developed CLIL materials and organized onsite and online teacher-training courses at national/international levels to enhance CLIL methodology..
