Oksana Ivanova holds the Master Degree in Technical Translation and qualification of technical translator. She is a Lecturer at the Institute of Applied Linguistics of the Faculty of E-Learning Technologies and Humanities of Riga Technical University (RTU). She is the coordinator of the Master professional study programme “Technical Translation” implemented at RTU.
She is a doctoral student at the Faculty of E-Learning Technologies and Humanities (FETH) of RTU. Oksana Ivanova is developing her PhD Thesis “Development of Multidisciplinary E-platform for Efficient Knowledge Transfer and Management in Digital Humanities”. Her research interests lie in translation of scientific and technical texts, machine translation, computer-assisted translation, e-learning technologies. She delivers the study courses in computer science, academic writing, translation of technical texts, modern technologies in translation, etc.
