Dr. Samia Naqvi is presently working at the Middle East College, Muscat, Oman as the Assistant Head of Center for Foundation Studies and Undergraduate English courses coordinator. She has an overall experience of seventeen years in teaching English and has taught students of varied backgrounds and levels.
She is involved in teaching, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of Undergraduate and Foundation level English language courses. She has designed several ESP, EAP and Business communication courses.
She holds a PhD in English Language teaching with specific reference to the use of ICTs for language learning. She has presented research papers in a number of international conferences. In September 2015, she disseminated her recent research findings in a conference held at the Harvard University, Boston, United States.
She has published a number of academic research papers as journal articles and book chapters on themes revolving around the use of ICTs in teaching English for Specific Purpose courses and issues related to academic integrity. She has reviewed a number of research articles and book chapters for reputed journals and books.
