Innovation in Language Learning

Indira Niebles has a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Queensland. She has been teaching English as a foreign languages for 11 years. She has taught in a different range of educational institutions: language schools (Colombia-Turkey), high schools, primary schools and is currently a professor at a university level (Universidad del Norte). Indira has additionally worked on curriculum design and is currently working on the design of the English program curriculum for a new undergraduate program in Modern Languages and Culture at Universidad del Norte. Indira’s research interests are curriculum design, language teacher development, interculturality and language assessment.
