Emma Abbate is Form Professor of Latin - History- Art and Geography since 1998/9 and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) teacher in Cambridge International IGCSE® Liceo Alessandro Manzoni (Caserta), an international Public High School. She cooperates with Università of Napoli L’Orientale as teachers’ trainer and expert in CLIL Masters courses. She has gained a specific expertise in Erasmus+ project management as coordinator of four projects funded by the European Commission.

Emma graduated in Litterature in 1994 with summa cum Laude and “right of Publication” thesis at Napoli Università Federico II. Since then, for the last 25 years, she has constantly been working in the field of historical research and Linguistic studies.
She has been awarded a PhD In “European Society History” (1995- Università of Napoli Federico II).
From 1990 to 1994 she worked as archivist and librarian.
She has several master's degrees in teaching methodology and use of ICT, a Specialization Master in teaching students with special needs at the secondary level and a Diploma for teaching Italian as a Foreign Language, held by Istituto Universitario Orientale in Naples.
Emma is an expert in the planning and management of Erasmus Plus international projects focusing in particular on the areas of education and CLIL research: she has developed and coordinated partnerships with Universities and schools in all Europe.
Emma has participated in several international conferences and published articles on CLIL and Historical research’s field.
