Jana Luprichová

Jana Luprichová is an Assistant Professor and the Erasmus+ mobility Coordinator at the University of Ss Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia, Faculty of Art, Department of British and American Studies.

Graduated in English language and literature teaching study programme from the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra in 2004. In 2013 she accomplished her PhD. in didactics in teaching English language at the same university. Since then, she has constantly been dealing with the implementation of the CLIL methodology.

A coordinator of the successfully finished Erasmus+ project named “Transnational Exchange of Good CLIL Practice among European Education Institutions”, awarded by the Slovak Academic Association for International Cooperation in 2017. Subsequently, participated in many national and international projects (e.g., Visegrad+).

Currently, she has been dealing with the implementation of the CLIL methodology in the Higher Education Environment with the objective to enhance the internationalisation of Higher Education in Slovak non-philological universities.

Professional interests include the History and Culture of Great Britain and Ireland, Legal English, Academic Writing, Didactics and methodology of teaching the English language, and CLIL methodology.
