Dr.Atyaf Hasan Ibrahim is the academic professor at University of Diyala/ Iraq and has been working in the field of education for 15 years. She has been teaching and supervising M.A students and participating in the VIVA of M.A and PH. D students.
She is specialised in English Language and Linguistics. She has a Diploma Degree in English Language in 1998, a B.A Degree in English Language in 2001, an M.A Degree in English Language and Linguistics in 2006 , and a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Language in 2021.
She is a researcher in the field of English language and linguistics, specifically Pragmatics, discourse analysis, cognitive linguistics, nonverbal communication and cross-cultural studies. She has published about 25 research papers in local, international and Scopus indexed journals and works as a reviewer for the benefit of these journals. She is also a member of the scientific committee for the peer-reviewing of research papers submitted for conferences in the field of higher education. She has Participated as a Board member of Referees of many International Journals.
Dr.Atyaf has participated in a number of conferences and workshops globally; Scientific Conferences of College of Education for Human Sciences in Iraq, IELTS Workshops in Egypt, Global United Conference and (ALLT) conference in Dubai, International Conference on Quality in Higher Education (ICQH) in Turkey, ISER Conference in Moscow and AILA conference in Malaysia.
She has conducted many Language Club activities and symposiums on different subjects. She has a membership of Local and International Societies, including the Iraqi Translation Society, the Consultant Bureau of Languages and Translation, the International Association of Scientific Researcher and the Women Empowering committee. She is a certified translator in the Iraqi Translation Society, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and University of Diyala. She has a number of translated articles in the Journal of Foreign Languages and published books in translation.
