Anthony Green

Anthony Green teaches English to Veterinary Medicine students at the University of Bari, with a specific focus on listening.

Anthony graduated in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford in 1983 followed by a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education from the Institute of Education of London University. Since then, he has worked in Italy in various language-teaching posts, principally at Bari University, where his latest listening project in conjunction with Mimmo Bracciodieta recently won funding under the tender Miglioramento della Didattica.
During the 1990s, he worked as Editor for the multimedia language company, ENGLIShEAR Systems srl, publishing many different series of listening CD-ROMs in conjunction with IBM-SEMEA and Hobby&Work, in Italy and numerous newspapers and journals around the world.
He has been invited to present on listening skills at IATEFL conferences in Harrogate and Exeter.
He also works as a teacher trainer for language teachers and for CLIL projects.
In his spare time, he is heavily involved in conservation of bird species such as the Red Kite, Lesser Kestrel and Kentish Plover
