Dr. Palina Louangketh is the Founder and Executive Director of the Idaho Museum of International Diaspora (IMID) – a multicultural and diaspora museum. She is also a healthcare and public health leader with 25 years of experience, and she serves as the Bureau Chief of the Bureau of Equity and Strategic Partnerships for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s Division of Public Health. She holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership (DSL) degree from the School of Business and Leadership at Regent University with a concentration in Strategic Foresight. An alumna of Boise State University, she completed both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Science in which she also teaches in the College of Health Sciences, University Foundations Program, and Honors College at Boise State University. Additionally, she designed three courses aligned to the IMID’s Global Diaspora Curriculum and teaches as a Professor of Multicultural Studies.
