Mohsen Hedayati

Mohsen Hedayati is a PhD candidate in education at University of Tasmania, Australia. He began his PhD research project in 2015 focusing on teacher education in computer-assisted language learning (CALL). He holds a bachelors degree in English Language Translation obtained in 2011, and Masters degree in Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL) obtained in 2014 from University of Tehran, Iran. His research interests include computer-assisted language learning, computer-mediated communication (CMC), seamless-learning, CALL teacher training/education, and CALL material development. In the masters thesis, Mohsen investigated the impact of language learners' individual learning styles on their language production in synchronous CMC.
Besides academic endeavours, Mohsen has been teaching English language for over 7 years at various language learning contexts, including Iran, Turkey and Australia. His professional goal is to enhance the use of new technologies among language teachers, specifically in the Iranian context.
