Hong Li (Ph.D., University of Minnesota Twin Cities) is a Professor of Pedagogy at Emory University and the Director of the Emory College Language Center in Atlanta, U.S.A. She teaches Chinese language courses at all levels, Classical Chinese, as well as courses on Chinese culture and Chinese linguistics. She also directs Emory’s summer study abroad program in China. Her research interests and publications lie in the areas of Chinese language pedagogy, second language acquisition, and Chinese syntax. She has published in venues such as the Journal of Chinese Teachers Association and the MLA volumes. Her most recent book was entitled Fun with Chinese Grammar: 35 Humorous Dialogues and Comics.
