Bindi Clements is Instructional Design and Efficacy Manager at Wall Street English, and is fascinated by ways in which technology can transform language learning. She has extensive experience in learning design for blended language training programmes, and is currently responsible for research into product efficacy, and for ensuring quality and consistency of the instructional design of Wall Street English products. She previously worked for the award-winning language and skills training company Learnlight, and has worked for many years designing course materials and tutoring for University of London distance learning programmes.
Bindi has a PhD from Imperial College London and is currently studying for an MA in Online and Distance Education (specialising in Applied Linguistics) with the Open University, UK. Her research interests include mobile learning solutions for vocabulary acquisition, comparing the efficacy and learner experience of online with face-to-face (classroom based) language teaching, and designing blended programmes which develop learner autonomy.
