Martina Hulešová

Martina Hulešová is a PhD student at Masaryk University (Czech Republic) and quality manager at the Research and Test Centre (Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies - Charles University).

Martina graduated in Spanish Philology from the Charles University in Prague in 1997 and in 2013, she graduated in Language testing at Lancaster University.

Martin worked as a Spanish teacher for almost 15 years. From 2001 to 2011 she worked as coordinator and methodologist for Centre for Measurement in Education (CZVV) responsible for developing high-stakes national upper-secondary school leaving exams. In 2015 she joined a team of the Research and Test Centre at the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies (Charles University). Her responsibilities concern among others building the validity argument for the Certified Exams of Czech for Foreigners and the internal development projects.

Martina also teaches courses on language testing and assessment in master- and life-long educational programs at the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University. She cooperates with national and international testing institutions and communities and is a member of EALTA (European Association for Language testing and Assessment).

Areas of expertise: language testing and assessment, high-stakes and classroom based assessment, test development and validation.
