Study of Effectiveness of Narrative Therapy on Bullying Reduction in Preschool Children

Abstract
The aim of this study was investigating effectiveness of narrative therapy on bullying reduction of preschool boys and girls in Kerman, Iran. The research was pre-test, post-test semi experimental method with the control group. First preschool centers were chosen by purposive sampling method. From this center and among whole preschool children, twenty of children were evaluated by the use of researcher-made bullying questionnaire which is composed of two forms, one for mother and the other for trainer. The children who gained the top bullying mark, were separated randomly in to two control and test groups of ten. For data analysis, covariance analysis method were used. The results of this study shows that narrative therapy has been effective on bullying reduction (p=0.001), physical bullying (nonverbal) (p≤0.001), relationship bullying (p≤0.001).
