Timm Wilke, born in 1988, studied Chemistry and French at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen from 2007 to 2012. He received his doctorate in 2017 in the Department of Chemistry Education, with guest stays in Florida/USA and at the IPN Kiel/Germany. In 2016 he was appointed assistant professor for Chemistry Didactics at Braunschweig University/Germany and in 2019 additionally guest professor at the University of Graz/Austria. From 2020 to 2023, he was full professor for Chemistry Education at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena.Currently, he is full professor for Chemistry Education at Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. His research interests are in particular the didactic reconstruction of current research topics and the development of digital tools and teaching/learning concepts for school chemistry education.
